To Norwary or not to Norway?

Visiting Norway had become a dilemma.It is probably going to be the most challenging driving and not able to share the driving made us re think our itinerary. Norway was, for us, one of the highlights of the whole tour and we were reluctant to change our plans having got this far. We looked into taking a cruise instead of driving but at a cost over £5,000 we quickly disregarded that option. We read various blogs which differed in their opinions of driving in Norway which didn’t aid our decision making . We had been told, however,  to stock up on  supplies before entering Norway because of the high cost of food and we  had done this on our way to Gothenburg. The decision became clear, with a boot full of food including a bucketful of Swedish meatballs we should head for land of the land of the midnight sun as planned. We agreed that if the driving got too tough or Graeme too scared we would turn back.
