Camping Domaine Saint Laurent

From Toulouse we spent a few nights in this stunning part of South France. The landscape is beautifully rural with golden patches of corn, darkening fields of ripening sun flowers and huge blue skies. It was to provide Graeme with lots of inspiration and scope for painting. We were fortunate to have a couple of very sunny warm days, enjoying the heat by the huge swimming pool which we had to ourselves. It was here we noticed a definite end of season feel. The campsite was in an isolated spot and the wind which started with such force on the third day made the campsite resemble some remote Midwest wasteland with not tumbleweed but deck chairs and washing flying by the van windows. Even our crocs found their way to the next pitch! It was time to move on
